Three Discreet Hearing Aid Sizes
Baby boomers usually seek
discreet correction of their hearing loss. We have designed HearPod hearing aids
to meet your specific requirements. The main difference between our
three sizes is in the diameter of the faceplates—all three sizes
taper to the same tip diameter. Even our largest hearing aid has been
engineered to fit inside the ear canal so the size or shape of
a person’s outer ear does not affect your choice with regard
to size.
HearPod Canal is our largest hearing aid. It offers
a large volume control on the faceplate and the diameter around
the faceplate is slightly larger than our other two models.
HearPod Mini-Canal is our mid size hearing
aid. Its faceplate and volume control is slightly smaller
than the Canal, tucks deeper inside the ear canal, yet is still
large enough to allow easy use of the volume control.
HearPod CIC (completely-in-canal) is our smallest
hearing aid. The faceplate is smaller and designed
to fit further inside the ear canal. Depending on the size
of your ear canal it can be almost invisible to others. When
cosmetics are important, the CIC digital hearing aid is your best choice.
The correct size depends on your personal preference.
If you don't have nimble fingers, you might prefer the Canal
or Mini-Canal hearing aid as the larger size is easier to handle. The CIC is the optimal choice for those who want the most discreet hearing aid.
It is also our most popular size.
The Canal and Mini-Canal hearing aids enable you to choose
between a volume control knob or set screw. Because of the smaller
size of the CIC faceplate, it comes with a set screw only. Whether
using the volume control knob or easy-to-use set screw, once
the volume level is set to your liking, no further adjustment
is necessary. |
